Orange County Youth Preparedness Camp June 25-29

Orange County 4-H will partner with Orange County Emergency Services to host the Orange County My Preparedness Initiative (MyPI) day camp for youth 13 to 18 years of age. The camp will be held June 25-29 at Orange County Emergency Services. Participants will receive instruction in the CERT curriculum, learn about emergency management apps and other technology, meet leaders in emergency services, and make an impact on their communities by helping those around them complete disaster preparedness plans.

Students can apply online by May 7 at mypinorthcarolina.org. Participants will be selected and notified by May 11.

Cost to attend:  $75.00 (lunches, certification fees, and supplies included)
