Master Gardener℠ volunteers in Orange County, N.C. are excited to offer free seeds for the community. We are offering seeds on a limited basis at the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Orange County office in the lobby and to local community gardens. We intend to expand our offerings in the future as we identify the needs of the community and offer seeds at multiple locations.

N.C. Cooperative Extension of Orange County moved to a new location. The Northern Campus, Bonnie B. Davis Environmental and Agricultural Center located at 1020 US Hwy 70 West, Hillsborough, NC 27278 across from the Department of Motor Vehicles (Drivers License Office).

We intend to replenish seeds as needed and rotate seeds based on a theme. Seeds of the month are Vegetable Seeds. Carrots and Snap Peas while supplies last.

We are looking to the public for seed donations and financial contributions to purchase seed packaging material like seed envelopes and information labels.

If you want to donate, help or learn more about our program, see our Frequently Asked Questions document!

Don’t be shy, come and get some free seeds!

We hope to see you soon.
