Summer can be a challenging time for many youth and families when children may not have consistent access to healthy meals like they usually would during the school day. Another option for families is to Register for Five-Day Meal Box provided by Orange County Schools.

Meals will be distributed on the schedule below from June 22 to July 29, 2026. Each five-day meal box will include five breakfast meals, five lunch meals, and instructions for safely storing and reheating each meal.
- New Hope Elementary (Monday 11:00am-12:30pm)
- *Note: There will be no pickup on July 6 due to the Independence Day observance. Families may select an alternate location to pick up meals on July 7 or July 8 that week.
- Pathways Elementary (Tuesday 11:00am-12:30pm)
- Gravelly Hill Middle (Wednesday 3:30-5:00pm)
This is a grab-and-go pickup. You only need to drive up to receive the meals and will not need to get out of the car. Please review pick-up details. Look for the signs indicating traffic flow.
More Details:
- The OCS School Nutrition Department is able to provide five breakfasts and five lunches each week for children ages 18 and under from June 22nd - July 29th. Food is available on a first-come, first-served basis. (Walk-up registration is available at each pick-up location.)
- Please read the details carefully, fill out the form with accurate information, and select your pick-up site.
- Provided information will be verified for accountability purposes. Note that each location has a specific pick-up day. Upon approval, Orange County Schools will contact you to confirm details. Meals will be either frozen or pre-cooked or shelf-stable. Preparation instructions will be included.
To assist the OCS School Nutrition team, please register in advance. This helps them prepare for everyone to receive meals every week during the summer.
Other Notes:
- TABLE will continue to deliver weekly to families enrolled in their programs as usual.
- Inter-Faith Council will continue to offer the Community Kitchen hot meals program which is open to anyone in need. Lunch Weekdays 11:15 AM-12:30 PM, Lunch Weekends and Holidays 11:15 AM-12:00 PM, Dinner Weekdays 5:00-5:45 PM
- SUN Bucks is a US Department of Agriculture (USDA) program that provides grocery-buying benefits in a one-time payment of $120 per eligible child on a debit-like card that can be used to buy nutritious food during the summer months when schools are out.
