Collapse ▲The Orange County Cooperative Extension Advisory Council’s purpose is to advise the Staff of community needs and advocate for support of Extension programming. Members assist in identifying programmatic needs, promote the value of Extension opportunities to the broader community, help cultivate new resources and partnerships, and challenge the team to provide relevant programming in the areas of agriculture and food, health and nutrition, and 4-H youth development.
Members are a part of Orange County communities and are an invaluable resource to the Orange County Cooperative Extension team. Members serve three-year terms. If you are interested in serving on the Advisory Council, contact current Chair Beverly Roberts at Robertsville27278@gmail.com or County Extension Director Jonathon Smith at jonathon_smith@ncsu.edu or 919-245-2057.
