One of the primary goals at Breeze Farm is to support the development of new farmers and, since its inception, many startup and early stage growers honed their skills and expanded operations at Breeze. Several existing successful area farms were incubated at Breeze Farm through access to land, water, infrastructure, equipment, and staff support.

Farm plots at Breeze are available to qualified farm enterprises under a user agreement and for affordable, per-acre fees billed on an annual basis. Plots are generally in the 0.5–3.0 acre range. Additional services include use of Breeze equipment (tractor, implements, walk-behind equipment, and various small tools) and access to a propagation greenhouse, coolers, wash- pack stations, and storage. Irrigation taps are available from on-site wells and a pond where resident farmers can connect their own irrigation systems. Breeze Farm itself is large (270- acres) however, the number of farms which can be supported is currently limited by the scope of infrastructure listed above. We continually seek to increase farming opportunities through maintenance and expansion of infrastructure by growing a robust funding structure.

Interested individuals are given a tour and an overview of Breeze operations and the application process. If space and supporting infrastructure is available to match the needs of the proposed enterprise, the applicant will be asked to provide a written prospectus (general business and farm development plan) which will be presented to the Breeze Farm Advisory Committee for review.

If you or anyone you know are interested in becoming an incubator farm at Breeze please reach out to our staff (see contact information below) to discuss availability and the application process. We look forward to working with you!
