Eight new farmers are in the process of learning planting techniques through the PLANT @ Breeze program. The PLANT @ Breeze program is a new farm enterprise incubator in Orange County.

ServSafe Manager's Certification Training

Orange and Durham Cooperative Extension, in cooperation with Environmental Health, are sponsoring a ServSafe 18-hour Manager's Certification Training August 13 and 14, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel RTP. The certification exam will be given for program participants on Monday, August 18 at 9:00 a.m. The cost of the course is $120.
