The Safe Plates for Managers is a food safety training course developed by NC State University. This program prepares all those who work in the foodservice industry and particularly those seeking food protection manager certification. Managers successfully completing the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals Certified Professional Food Manager Exam meet the FDA Food Code 2022 requirement for a Certified Food Protection Manager. This certificate not only meets the same requirement in North Carolina but it is also good throughout the United States for five years.

Class: Mondays April 21 and 28 (need to attend both days) from 9:00AM-4:30PM

Exam: Monday, May 5 from 9:00 AM-12:00PM

Location: Bonnie B. Davis Center 1020 US-70 W Suite 130 Hillsborough, NC 27278 (across the Hillsborough DMV)

Registration Fee for Class: $125 (includes the cost of the manual, handouts, study materials, and exam)

Registration Fee for Exam only: $50 (Space for exam-only option is limited; priority is given to those taking the course)

Registration closes: Wednesday, April16th at 5:00 pm
