Safe Plates for Managers is a food safety training course developed by NC State University. This program prepares all those who work in the foodservice industry and particularly those seeking food protection manager certification for the ANSI-approved  Food Protection Manager Certification exam.Managers successfully completing the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals Certified Professional Food Manager Exam meet the FDA Food Code 2022 requirement for a Certified Food Protection Manager. This certificate not only meets the same requirement in North Carolina but it is also good throughout the United States for five years.

Class – 2 days
Monday March 4, 2024 | 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Monday March 11, 2024 | 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Exam
Monday March 18, 2024 | 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Location: Bonnie B. Davis Center 1020 US-70 W Suite 130 Hillsborough, NC 27278 (in front of the Hillsborough DMV)

Registration Fee for Class: $125 (includes the cost of the manual, handouts, study materials, and exam)

Registration Fee for Exam only: $50*

Payments are due by February 28, 2024 when registration will close.

*An exam-only option is available but space is limited; priority is given to those taking the course
