Extension Master Naturalist of Orange County will be conducting a pilot program starting January 2025.
Thanks for your interest in the Master Naturalist Program in Orange County, NC!
We want to provide you more information about the training and inform you prior to opening the application process.
Classes will be held once a month on Saturdays beginning on January 18, 2025. Below is the inclusive dates we will meet.
Currently all classes are scheduled for the Cooperative Extension Multipurpose Room in the Bonnie B Davis Ag Center (1020 US-70 in Hillsborough, NC prior to a field trip for the class. (Note: This may change based on the presenter and topic.)
Prior to filling out an application, candidates must participate in an orientation to better understand what our program is about.
Applications will be provided at orientation.
The orientation dates are scheduled for the following days (you only need to attend one):
- July 20, 2024 10-11 a.m. (Zoom)
- August 6, 2024, 6 -7 p.m. (Bonnie B. Davis Ag Center)
- September 10, 2024 7-8 p.m. (Zoom)
Please submit all the dates you are available.
We will email you to confirm your attendance to the orientation date and time.
We look forward to meeting you at orientation.
Applications are due September 30,2024 with a $10.00 application fee.
Acceptance confirmations will be emailed out by October 15, 2024.
Cost for the class is $110.
