About: This club focuses on firearm and archery safety and skills in preparation for district, state, and national shooting sports tournaments. About: This new club for ECHHS Students is currently exploring teen 4-H opportunities including 4-H Presentations and the Application, Interview, Resume, Essay (AIRE) contest. This club also coordinates service projects on and near campus.

About: This club is based at Eno River Academy and explores topics of interest to their students from cooking and sewing to hiking

Emphasis: Gardening

About: Based at the Davis Memorial 4-H Youth Garden in Hillsborough, this club meets regularly to learn how to grow their own food in an active garden. Learn about the types of plants, how to cultivate produce, explore the world of pollinators, and have fun!

Youth: Elementary and Middle School (grades K-7)

Emphasis: Community Service

About: This club is all about student-led community service projects. From creating crafts for local nursing homes to volunteering at horse shows and Hillsborough Hog Day, students put their “hands to service” as they make their communities better.

Emphasis: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics

Sunset Riders 4-H Club

Emphasis: Horses (Equine Education Contests, District & State Horse Shows)

About: This club is all about horses and the science of horses. Members participate in state 4-H contests such as horse judging, horse bowl, hippology, and 4-H horse presentations. Members also have the opportunity to compete in district and state 4-H horse shows.
