Orange County Government, in partnership with North Carolina Cooperative Extension, seeks to strengthen the local food system and address food insecurity across the County. We know there is so much incredible work already going on across the County to address hunger. While we know about some of these efforts, there are many that we do not yet know about.

If your organization (house of worship, office, community, nonprofit) has a food distribution event, food pantry, or other ongoing food security outreach effort, we would like to know about them so they can be included in a comprehensive list to share with individuals and families across Orange County. We plan to share this resource list with county departments, universities, houses of worship, community centers, and others who serve the public on a regular basis. We believe the first step to alleviating hunger is to inform those in need about resources already in place.

Please visit go.ncsu.edu/foodfororange to submit information about your program.

This form will be open indefinitely to allow submissions to be added at any time moving forward.
If you have any questions about this form or the Orange County Food Security Program, contact Jonathon Smith at 919-245-2057 or jonathon_smith@ncsu.edu.
