The Borrowing Kitchen ProjectN.C. Cooperative Extension, Orange County Center, in partnership with Cedar Grove and Rogers Road RENA Community Centers, is excited to launch a new Kitchen Equipment Borrowing Program. This free pilot program aims to make healthy cooking more accessible by providing local residents with access to kitchen tools that may be too expensive or unavailable at home. We believe everyone deserves the chance to prepare nutritious meals.

Want to try new recipes but don’t have the right equipment? Our program is designed to help you:

  • Make healthy recipes at home.
  • Increase your consumption of fruits and vegetables.
  • Experiment with new cooking techniques.
  • Discover what kitchen tools you love before you buy them.
