Description: The North Carolina 4-H Scholarship Program offers several scholarships, some graduating seniors may be eligible for and some not. Orange County 4-H members are in the North Central District. See the link below for a full description of each available scholarship you can be considered for.

The only requirements to apply are 1) you must have been a 4-H member for at least three years and 2) plan to attend college in the fall.

You will need an official transcript, a recommendation letter from an academic reference such as a teacher, and a recommendation letter from your 4-H club leader/coach or from me the agent, to go with your application. Be sure to go ahead and contact your references so they have time to write this for you. If you want me to write your 4-H recommendation letter, let me know ASAP so I can get started on that for you.

Applications are due by 12:00 P.M. on January 28.  This is a receive by date. If mailing, send to Orange County 4-H, P.O. Box 8181, Hillsborough, NC 27278. If bringing in person, bring to the Orange County Extension Office located at 306 Revere Rd., Hillsborough.
