Event Information:
Come out and join us for a great day of learning. The 2023 Tri-County Pasture and Livestock Management Field day rotates into Person County this year. We have a full day of terrific pasture and livestock topics lined up for you. No matter what species you raise, you’ll find something useful at this field day. We will be at City Lake Farm just outside of Roxboro. Registration for this FREE event begins at 8:30 a.m. with the program starting at 9 a.m. We should conclude around 3 p.m. Lunch will be provided to those who register. Trams will transport participants between the various learning stations. Attendees are welcome to bring a chair if standing for long periods of time is difficult. We’ll also provide snacks and water so everyone can stay hydrated. It is late September, after all. Topics include Animal Health; Flies and Parasites; Poisonous Plants/Chemical Use and Silvopasture/Agroforestry. Plans are to bring back the popular Weed ID section. Agribusiness vendors will have booths on site to help you with services and products. Register here by September 18 for this great educational event.
