N.C. Cooperative Extension of Orange County will be conducting a pilot Master Naturalist program starting January 2025.

Master Naturalist classes will be held monthly on Saturday from January to December 2025.

Admission to the Master Naturalist program is by application only, as spots are limited. Prior to applying, candidates must participate in an information session to better understand what our program is about.

The information session dates are scheduled for the following days (you only need to attend one):

  • July 20, 2024 10-11 a.m. (Zoom)
  • August 6, 2024, 6 -7 p.m. (Bonnie B. Davis Ag Center)
  • August 21, 2024, 10-11 a.m. (Hillsborough Public Library)
  • September 10, 2024 7-8 p.m. (Zoom)

Applications are due September 30, 2024. We will provide a link to the application at the orientation.

Acceptance confirmations will be emailed out by November 1, 2024.

Cost for the class is $125.
